CIPS Australia PMI/PSI/PCI Monthly Service for Members

CIPS Australia endorse the Performance of Manufacturing Index [PMI], Performance of Services Index [PSI] and the Performance of Construction Index [PCI] which are compiled monthly by the AIG. Other supporters include PWC and NTC Research. As a benefit for CIPS Australia members, these indices are available monthly from the CIPSA newsletter.

CIPSA/PI Indirect Category Indexes and Benchmarking Reports

Achieving value for money is a common goal for procurement departments. PI undertakes diagnostics of the procurement function and processes of organisations against value for money criteria, that assist organisations to move towards best procurement practices. A starting point is an analysis of a procurement department’s workload-see (attachment 1) CIPSA/PI benchmarking (attachment 2) can assist procurement professionals to build a case for adopting better processes and practices.
